Background: Lung cancer is the most common with 2,206,771 new cases in 2020 worldwide. MMP9 a member of matrix metalloproteinase family that also known as gelatinase B or IV type collagenase (92KD). through degrading Extracellular Matrix (ECM) and releasing growth factors has fundamental role tumorigenesis process.
